STEP UP: Leveraging Data to Promote Women’s Walkability in Milan

For the sixth edition of Milano Digital Week, Transform Transport, TeMA Lab – Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, Sex and the City APS, and Walk21 Foundation will participate in a webinar on the role of new digital technologies in promoting gender equality in urban mobility.

The webinar, in line with this year’s theme “Lo Sviluppo dei Limiti – Partecipare a una transizione digitale inclusiva, sostenibile, ed etica” (“The Development of Limits – Participating in an inclusive, sustainable, and ethical digital transition”), will focus on the challenges and potentials of new digital tools for data collection, starting from a socially-driven data approach. It will also bring to light the first results of the scientific research project “STEP UP – Walkability for Women in Milan,” led by Transform Transport, TeMA Lab – Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, Sex and the City APS, and Walk21 Foundation.
